When doing my logo research I was looking for simple but creative examples to draw inspiration from as that is what i'm going to try to achieve with my logo. I really like the eye catching shape of a Radio mast on BBC's 1988 news logo, as its sharp and descriptive. I also like "Impact Journalism Day" logo as it looks really fresh and clean even though its hand rendered. The Gonzo logo is a very iconic logo as it was designed by Hunter S. Thompson and was used frequently by him, it also helped Gonzo Journalism gain popularity. The ITHP and Demotix logo, both really stood as solid san serif logo's with a small visual intergrated.
